A happy welcome,
Speel-Inn de Blokkendoos is located on the edge of the Libellebos.
We have a spacious accommodation here with three childcare group rooms and a large after-school care group room at the bottom of the building.
Daycare center Speel-Inn de Blokkendoos currently has three tribal groups
- A baby group “de Boefjes” of a maximum of 6 children between the ages of 6 weeks and 1 year.
- A toddler group “the Binkies” of a maximum of 9 children in the age of 1 to 2 / 2.5 years.
- A (VVE) toddler group “de Bengeltjes” of a maximum of 14 children in the age of 2 to 4 years.
The area around the KDV is completely fenced off.
The parking spaces can be found in front of and next to the children’s center. It is also easily accessible by bicycle.
All groups are furnished with different corners, for example a doll corner, kitchen corner or car corner. This gives children the opportunity to concentrate and to isolate themselves during play. All groups have tables where the children can eat, play and do crafts. The open cupboards encourage free play.
Each group has a shelf with its own basket for each child. Personal belongings of the child can be kept in this basket.
In the corridors there are coat hooks with lice bags, in which the coats can be stored.
In the baby group there is a snoezel corner with a mirror and a mat in front of it where children can play freely and discover themselves. There is a playpen and a hanging basket, where children can relax.
All groups work with the themes of Uk & Puk. This involves looking at the different development areas of the child. The activities stimulate speech and language skills, social-emotional skills, motor and sensory skills and provide the first arithmetic stimuli. All this happens very gradually, in a playful way. Because at Uk & Puk it’s not about teaching and learning, but about actively playing and discovering.
Speel-Inn de Blokkendoos has a challenging outdoor playground. The outdoor area has space for the children to play freely, but there is also a tunnel with a slide, a hut and a sandpit. Between mid-March and September, the children and pedagogical staff also work in the vegetable garden.
The baby group has a baby terrace adjacent to their space, where the little ones can discover and play outside.
When children reach the age of 4, they can move on to our out-of-school care, which is built-in. Do not forget to register on time!
