Agreement
The agreements between parent (s) / caregiver (s) and Small Society are laid down in the childcare agreement. The agreement includes agreements with regard to the days to be purchased, the price and pricing policy, the opening hours and payment conditions and the calculated hours.
Our purchase options are based on a minimum purchase of 1 day per week. Do you have any special wishes regarding the purchase of your childcare? Do you need more flexibility or more customization with regard to opening hours or purchase quantities? Please let us know. Small Society has several options to meet your needs through our flexible purchase options.
The agreement refers to our general terms and conditions and our house rules that are provided to parent (s) / guardian (s) together with the childcare agreement.
The childcare agreement has a notice period of 1 month. If the agreement is canceled by parent (s) / guardian (s) before the start of the placement, cancellation costs will be charged according to the scale below.
Days before the start: Cancellation costs:
* more than 3 months € 0, –
* 1 to 3 months € 80, –
* less than 1 month 100% of the monthly rate
Rates
Our day care centres are open every work day for 11 hours (except for public holidays, memorial days and our other closing days) from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Our rates include nappies, food and other care items. At the parents’ request, children can enjoy a hot lunch instead of a sandwich lunch at all Small Society branches. These services are subject to additional charges.
Flexible arrangement options
Our rates are based on a standard arrangement for entire days. If you wish, half days are also an option (day care) or tailor-made solutions can be agreed with you. Flexible opening hours are also possible at most branches. This means you can bring your child(ren) earlier or pick them up later if you wish. Please contact us if you have any special requirements, as we would like to work with you to find a suitable solution!
Below you will find an overview of the 2019 rates for all locations.

The average hourly rate for day care (based on your child staying the entire day) can be calculated as follows:
A = price per month
B = number of days per week your child is in day care
(((A * 12) / 52) / B) / 11 = price per hour
Depending on your personal situation, you may be eligible for an allowance for the costs of your childcare (childcare allowance). Childcare allowance is received through the Tax and Customs Administration. You can make a test calculation here.
