BSO Hilversumse Meent is located in the school building on the Vuurvlindermeent.

The children are taken care of in a room on the ground floor and 2 rooms on the first floor.

The out-of-school care consists of 3 main groups in the age of 4 to 12 years, with a maximum of 62 children per day:

• Groep Groen takes care of a maximum of 20 children aged 4, 5 and 6 years. This group is located on the ground floor.
• Groep Rood takes care of a maximum of 22 children aged 6, 7 and 8 years. This group is located on the first floor.
• Groep Blauw takes care of a maximum of 22 children aged 8-12. This group is also located on the first floor. Children aged 6 and 8 are individually and in consultation with their parents assessed to see whether they are ready to move on to the next group earlier.

The indoor space offers the children enough challenge. We have a library on the top floor where we can enjoy quiet, relaxing activities with the children. The gym of the school is used for sports and games, dance and theater activities are also organized here and the outdoor areas are equipped with challenging equipment. There is a studio opposite the groups, which we may use as an extra play area. Here, for example, a group of children can do a quiet game activity, for example playing on the floor with a playmobile, Lego or quietly playing a game. A creative activity can also be done here.

The kitchen is used for culinary activities.

For outdoor play, we may use the outdoor playground of the Sterrenwachter primary school, the schoolyard of the Gooise Dalton school, the wheel court and / or football field next to the building as outdoor space.
